The Swallow's Nest opened its "Barn Doors" in October 2005.  Owner and operator, Allison Abreu along with her husband Paul, gave new life to the inside of their barn circa 1860, by turning it into a custom frame workshop.

After receiving her degree in Art from Colby-Sawyer College, Allison worked in the photography field for five years and then managed a custom frame gallery for the next eleven years.
